  • How to use your System Planner: Scroll down for instructions
    1. New Users: Press to create a User Account that will allow your configuration to be submitted, saved or loaded for completion at another time.
    2. Returning Users: Click and enter login and password details to access your user account, save a configuration session and be able to submit a system design.
Note: A previously saved configuration can be accessed to by pressing the Load button to edit or continue the session.
    3. New Session: To begin building your MX-PP-POH matrix system, either-
      i. Press the Pre-defined Set-up button and select one of the 12 preset system configurations between 08x16 to 16x112 for quick and easy creation of a cascaded matrix solution.

Note: Preset configurations can be edited by removing/adding different transmission modules or matrix models. Be advised that editing may alter the system functionality or ability to cascade multiple matrices to create a larger distribution.

ii. Click the image of the matrix model to add to the rack.
    4. Start with the tab to select from an 8x8 or 16x16 chassis.

      - Click the image of the matrix model to add to the virtual rack.

      - Click to delete your matrix from the virtual rack.

      - Click for more details about the matrix model.

Note: Only one matrix can be added to the virtual rack at a time. To add another matrix, a transmission module featuring HDMI pass-through must be added to a slot in the matrix (See Section 6 of this guide).

ATTENTION: Removing a matrix will delete any transmission cards selected and also any matrices cascaded from it.
    5. Next, enter the tab and select from the list of 11 digital and analog transmission modules and populate your matrix by dragging and dropping modules into matrix slots.

      - Clicking a transmission module reveals details of that model module.

      - To add a module to the matrix, click and hold the transmission module image to select Drag and drop the module into the chosen slot of the matrix.

Note: Cards can be positioned in any order but cannot be moved between slots once dropped. To reposition a card it must be deleted and reselected.

      - Remove a card by clicking [x].
    6. Cascading or Daisy-chaining outputs to form larger distributions consisting of multiple matrices requires the HDMI Pass-through functionality found on the TX-POH-020 and TX-POH-110 transmission modules.

Adding a TX-POH-020 or TX-POH-110 module will prompt the system to check you want to expand your distribution by adding another matrix to the rack.

Click and the system will process the action before dropping the card into the slot.

      - Adding a single 020 or 110 module allows one additional matrix to be cascaded.

      - Adding multiple 020 or 110 modules allows multiple outputs/matrices to be cascaded.

Note: Connection of the outputs is shown visually by a purple HDMI cable between the HDMI Pass-through output port of the upper matrix to the HDMI input of the default TX-POH-010 module in the cascaded matrix.

The default 010 module can be replaced another with an HDMI Input. In this instance, the purple HDMI cable connection will remain for that open slot until a compatible module is selected.

ATTENTION: Removing an 020 or 110 module from the matrix will delete any outputs or matrices cascaded from it. Clicking [x] will prompt a system message before deleting that module.
HINT: If creating a large, cascaded distribution, save time by clicking to choose from preset matrix systems to load in the virtual rack and edit until you find a solution that meets your needs.
    7. When happy with your matrix configuration, go to the tab to enter your location your business details. Please also enter your preferred WyreStorm distributor details to ensure you receive your order through your usual channels. You can even add a message to be sent to us with your submission.
    8. Press to view your configured matrix/module system and check the total number of inputs & outputs your system offers.

      - To make changes, return to the Matrix Model or Transmission Modules tabs and edit your selections as required. Changes will be reflected in the Summary.
    9. Save button : WyreStorm recommends you save your session during selection and before submission to avoid losing your configuration or to edit/complete it at a later time. You must to create a user account or to your account to save your session.

ATTENTION: The system has a one-session save memory only. Multiple configurations of multiple sessions cannot be saved. Saving another configuration will automatically overwrite the previously saved session configuration.
    10. Enter the tab and click the button to send your personally specified matrix configuration to WyreStorm. A member of the WyreStorm team will contact you to discuss your configuration, provide pricing, confirm your order and delivery date.

A confirmation email including your configuration will be sent to the email address provided in the Additional Information section.
    11. Additional Interface Controls:

View an online video tutorial on using this system planner.

Click to view images for matrix models and transmission modules.

Click to view various design concepts and wiring diagrams using different transmission modules.

Click to print the order Summary table of selected system configurations and follow the onscreen print instructions.

ATTENTION: Ensure your printer is set to Landscape mode prior to printing.

Tell the world about your handy work by email, Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn by pressing the share button and following the onscreen directions.

Starts a new session and clears the virtual rack of all previous matrix/module selections and any details added in the Additional Information tab.

Recommended when beginning a new configuration or if difficulties are experienced with System Planner operation.

ATTENTION: This action CANNOT be undone. Any configurations will be lost and will need to be input again.
